The night at the Camp Nou Stadium promited to be another special one in Can Barça. The result of the first leg match was favorable to the needs of the catalan team after the 1-1 in Stamford Bridge -as the goals away values twice-. However, the supporters knew that they need to support the team in order to help them to reach the quarter finals, and most of all, the best player of the Barça squad -and for many people the best in the world- Lionel Messi. There was a huge banner in the stand that said "God Save the King" with a picture of the Barcelona´s best player of the history. The picture was the right one for the moment, that shows the Argentinian player celebrating with the stand the sixth goal against Paris Saint-Germain in the comeback at Camp Nou in the same round last year. An iconic picture of a legend for a important night. And the hero did not fail their people.

Messi tore the tie with his mastery of the game, with surgical precision intervening when necessary. He bided his time, acted and tore the Chelsea, which received goals when they were playing better. Barca contributed a great choral work, no doubt. With the touch of Iniesta, the lightness of Dembélé, attracting Suarez, Umtiti correction ... But with Leo as a definitive factor. From the first minute to the last. Despite the blue resistance, with indefatigable Willian, there is no way to shoot down Barça. Messi do what he wants when it resolves to do it. Chelsea did not touch the ball from kickoff to 1-0. Except a blunt cut on the wing of  Rüdiger, the team staged a perfect start in the Champions League match. They took, moved the ball, waited for the right moment, and gave Leo and that was the time when the light of Barça start to shine. On the right side, he sought the wall with Dembélé, touched a defender, Suarez got in depth where Messi continued the move and from there, almost no angle, after searching a Center with the view, found the pipe under the legs of Courtois, soft in its post.

With the two goals, Barça forced Chelsea to change the suit in the early beginning of the game. Chelsea  presented an unblemished 1-5-4-1, much like Conte who preferred to put Giroud instead of Morata, as in the first leg match. His sin beared its own punishment. Beyond a good backheel, the French player did not provide more than an elbow during the match. Anyways, with the score against the fullbacks joined the pivots and let loose his best men, Hazard and Willian. Belgian has more fame, who woke up first with a diagonal, but the Brazilian is spectacular. Exceeds line, he shoots passes... A cross shot by the last one well saved by Ter Stegen sounded serious threat. Umtiti cleared a good shot that floated to the midfield. Messi stole a ball from his friend Cesc Fábregas, then he went like lightning eluded Azpilicueta, stalled on the left side, and he was waiting that Suárez could lose the mark of the defender. After that, Messi gently shoved another front, for the arrival of Dembélé, who received the ball in front of Courtois and scored the second goal.

During these minutes  Iniesta showed its importance in the game. He risked his muscles and endured what he could. While he was assured the possesion of the ball, he make possible to Suarez to make a luxury backheel, well plugged by Courtois. Chelsea had merit of not  being disconnected after punishment. Willian again, with Sergi Roberto reprimanded, he charged down the left and his center back Marcos Alonso was topped by Ter Stegen. Then Kanté crossed the finish alone. And just before the break, a kick that showed the gallons of Marcos, who sought and found the squad, but the ball hit the post. Beautiful. That greatness of the reigning Premier remained after the break, but with nuances. Chelsea reached out with intent, but was terribly soft in both areas. Courtois gave a goal to Suarez then amend it taking a good foot, and Marcos Alonso capped him at the last moment all arrivals. Dembélé, Pique grabbed another in the area and also Umtiti.

Everything was good news for the Barça. Even André Gomes, greeted with warmth by the stand after confessing that he suffers when plays poorly, he settled down and gave good minutes of control. Morata entered in the final stretch, explayer of Real Madrid, and he collected whistles from the stand.  Then joined Pedro, explayer of Barça, and received a memorable ovation, as he was part of the great success of Barça in the recent times. Chelsa was allowed to die with dignity. It ended with another sho of Rüdiger that hit the post. This was the fourth post in two matches. Messi was on the other side to add his 100th goal in the Champions League and bring gift to his small Ciro, his third son that was born days before.It is the new King of the House.

Finally, Barça won 3-0, that means that will be in the next quarter finals, that will be played between the days 3rd and 4th of April – the first leg matches-. The second leg matches will be the following week – the 10th and 11th of April-.
